I think this is a fantastic mala. I discovered a bead-maker in Kathmandu during my last visit stringing these in his shop. The weight and texture of the beads is satisfying and functional.

Butterscotch colored water buffalo bone discs are strung on durable jute cording with simple braided tassel and polished bone guru bead. The antiqued-silver bell and dorje counters are strung on leather cord and are removable.
