The six colors on the flag represent the aura that emanated from the body of the Buddha when He attained Enlightenment under the bodhi tree. The horizontal stripes represent the races of the world living in harmong and the vertical stripes prepresent eternal world peace. Each color is a seperate strip of fabric sewn together to form this amazing flag. 100% cotton. Has both a pole pocket and pole ties for fexible display options. Best for indoor or covered outdoor use. Made in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Waived for many years

We bought one of these flags from DharmaShop about 6 years ago. It hung outside of our home for many years on our flag pole. From time to time we switched it out for another, seasonal flag, but mostly we have proudly displayed this one! It faded quite a bit after so many summers in the sun since it is cotton and not an all-weather material but that is part of what I liked about it - natural fibers are important to me. I just bought another. Thanks DharmaShop!
