Thai Buddha Bead Wrist Mala

• These gold Thai Buddha beads are made of the same ceramic that monks in Bangkok use to make Thai amulets.
• We have been selling the 108 bead version of this mala for years and also offer this matching stretchy wrist mala in two sizes.
• These great, traditional beads are made by hand, strung on durable cord, and blessed.  During the blessing ceremony, 24 karat gold leaf is added to the beads.

Thai monks make these beads as well as little ceramic Buddha amulets to sell in order to support their Wats (temples).  Each bead is molded by hand with a simple Buddha image and are then colored and blessed.  The 24 karat gold leaf is added during the blessing ceremony.  The gold will wear off in time and with use; this is considered to be a visual representation of the growth of your practice.

Stretchy wrist mala is available in two sizes:  Small measures approximately 6.5 inches around, Large measures about 7.5 inches around.  Beads are 10-11mm and coated unevenly with gold.
