DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, helped design this 108 bead mala alongside of our artisans in Kathmandu. It's made with a combination of earthy-colored amazonite beads and lapis spacers, finished with a gold-plated brass Cheppu pendant. Sander actually sourced these amazing pendants on his last trip to Taiwan and brought them directly to our mala maker in Nepal, making this a truly exclusive DharmaShop design!
Cheppu, known as the mask of protection, can be seen at the main entrance of many stupas and homes as a protection from all dangers.
Amazonite is known for its soothing powers. It helps to calm the nervous system and brain by dispelling negative energy and allowing us to let go of anger and sadness.
Mala measures approximately 38 inches around. Beads are 8mm. Cheppu pendant is about 1/2 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide.
