This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. In Buddhist legend, the 8 symbols represent offerings the gods made to the Buddha after his enlightenment. It is believed that each of these symbols have powers to bring blessings for which people include these in paintings, textiles, homes, and wherever else possible.
This embroidered fabric wall hanging is an excellent piece for a meditation or yoga room. It features colorful embroidering on a monk's robe red background with a yellow brocade. A fabric loop allows for easy hanging. Multicolored fringe hangs from the bottom.
