God of Wealth Jambhala Statue

  |
  • A unique and one-of-a-kind Jambhala statue hand crafted and painted in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • Made over a 3-5 month long process involving casting, creating wax molds, making plaster molds for bronze pouring, and then hand detailing and carving before the finishing artists even see the statues.
  • After being hand detailed and expertly carved by master craftsmen, the statue is then sent to the finishing artists to be hand painted with beautiful colors and gold accents.  Each and every detail is truly incredible!

Jambhala is known as the Buddhist god of wealth.  He is also believed to be an emanation of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.  Jambhala is a Bodhisattva of material and spiritual wealth as well as many other things, especially of granting financial stability.

Statue depicts Jambhala with a mongoose in one hand and lemon in the other, sitting upon a lotus platform with beautiful detail including lotus flowers and two swimming fish.  The two fish represent fearlessness.  Living without danger of drowning in the ocean of sufferings, just as fish swim freely without fear through water.  The lotus flower, in many cultures, represents purity and peace, blooming through the mud.  Statue features a small scuff on the back side and the price has been discounted to reflect this minor imperfection.

Statue measures approximately 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide at the base.
