In Buddhism, the Kalachakra tradition revolves around the concept of time and cycles.  From the cycles of the planets, to the cycles of human breathing, it teaches the practice of working with the most subtle energies within ones body on the path to enlightenment. 

Each detail is painted by hand on cotton canvas using natural mineral and vegetable pigments with 24K gold accents.  The intricate brushstrokes and extraordinary detail make these thangkas genuine works of art.  It comes unframed and ready for Western style framing of your choosing.

Full canvas measures approximately 8.6 x 8.6 inches.  Inside painted area is about 7.5 by 7.5 inches.
