Two of our favorite Tibetan pendants are strung on a hand woven turquoise bead necklace. The Tibetan horn is made of water buffalo bone while the Buddha on bodhi leaf pendant is silver plated.
A note about bone usage: In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, utensils, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste. This amazing horn pendant is handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Tibetan horn pendant is natural so sizes vary between 2 and 2 1/2 inches. The Buddha pendant measures 1 1/4 inches. Chain measures 32 inches and contains a lobster clasp with turquoise beads.
