- Our new etched Tibetan singing bowl is incredibly detailed and was hand picked from a stunning collection of carved singing bowls made in Kathmandu.
- It is cast, hammered, polished, and etched entirely by hand. The outside of the bowl is decorated with the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum.
- Inside the bowl is a detailed image Chenrezig with mantras.
Recognized as the embodiment of compassion, Chenrezig is one of the most renowned and beloved deities throughout the Buddhist world. Tibetans believe that every person whose heart is moved by love and compassion, who deeply and sincerely act for the benefit of others without concern for fame, profit, social position, or recognition expresses the activity of Chenrezig.
Bowl rings at a G note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Throat Chakra. It influences communication, dreaming, artistic expression, good judgment, self-belief, wisdom, and truthfulness. When the Throat Chakra is balanced, it allows for free communication, helping us to feel centered and happy.
Singing bowl measures approximately 5 3/4 inches in diameter and about 2 3/4 inches deep. Made in Nepal.
