This one-of-a-kind Tibetan Blue Moon Singing Bowl from our DharmaShop curated collection was handmade in the Kathmandu Valley by fifth and sixth generation singing bowl artists. These bowls harness the subtle energy of the moon to give extraordinary and long lasting healing vibrations. Their high energy quality of sound is truly beautiful and unique.
This bowl is handmade during and directly under the light of the blue moon on March 31, 2018. A blue moon refers to the second full Moon in a calendar month. This is a rare occurrence that only happens every few years, making these bowls extraordinarily special.
Each bowl features gorgeous hand carved details including an exclusive full moon singing bowl stamp, a sacred Buddhist mantra, and the Blue Moon date. The full moon singing bowl stamp is also known as the Chinese symbol of longevity and happiness.
Bowl rings at a E note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Solar Plexus chakra. Located at the center of the body, it is the place where physical energy is distributed. It is the center for unrefined emotions and personal power, and the center that give us the sense of complete satisfaction and contentment.
Measures approximately 12 1/4 inches in diameter and is about 4 3/4 inch deep. Cushion sold separately.
All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
