This one-of-a-kind Tibetan Blue Moon Singing Bowl from our DharmaShop curated collection was handmade in the Kathmandu Valley by fifth and sixth generation singing bowl artists. These bowls harness the subtle energy of the moon to give extraordinary and long lasting healing vibrations. Their high energy quality of sound is truly beautiful and unique.
This bowl is handmade during and directly under the light of the blue moon on March 31, 2018. A blue moon refers to the second full moon in a calendar month. This is a rare occurrence that only happens every few years, making these bowls extraordinarily special.
Each bowl features gorgeous hand carved details including an exclusive full moon singing bowl stamp, an original makers mark, and the blue moon date. The full moon singing bowl stamp is also known as the symbol of longevity and happiness. *We are offering this bowl at a discounted rate due to a small etching error on the date.*
Bowl rings at a C# note when struck with a woolen mallet. This resonates with the Root Chakra, which is situated at the base of or tail end of the spine. It is the foundation of the physical body; it stimulates vital forces throughout our body and assists in keeping us grounded to the earth.
Measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is about 2 3/4 inches deep. Comes with a traditional wooden striker; cushion sold separately.
All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
