Our new and exclusive DharmaShop curated set of 3 antique singing bowls will help balance your chakras and enhance your meditation practice. Each bowl was hand picked by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls from Kathmandu. Set features 3 singing bowls that compliment one another sonically and resonate with the Throat, Heart, and Root Chakras.
These are medium sized, beautifully aged, hand hammered singing bowls. Each bowl is truly one-of-a-kind with gorgeous signs of age and wear including tiny dotted hashmarks and an etched rim. One bowl features a maker's mark from the artist. With these antique details and rich tones, the set shows and sings beautifully.
Singing bowl in the forefront of the photo rings at a G# note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Throat Chakra. When this chakra is balanced, it allows for free communication, helping us to feel centered and happy. This bowl also includes the artist's mark.
The bowl on the left rings at a F note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Heart Chakra, which is the center of real, unconditional affection, spiritual growth, compassion, devotion and love.
Finally, the bowl on the right rings at a C# note when struck with a woolen mallet. This resonates with the Root Chakra, which is situated at the base of or tail end of the spine. It is the foundation of the physical body; it stimulates vital forces throughout our body and assists in keeping us grounded to the earth.
Bowls measure approximately 6 3/4 - 7 inches in diameter and are 3 1/4 - 3 3/4 inches deep. Cushions sold separately.
All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet.
