Soft, wool headed mallet for striking your singing bowl. We include a standard wooden striker with each singing bowl order but this would be a nice additional option for another way to play your bowl. Made in India.
Size:12 inches long. Head is approx 2 3/4 inches accross.
One of my singing bowls is a large crystal bowl and, while the standard strikers work on my five-metal bowls and even the crystal bowl, they are not convenient to use on this particular crystal bowl. This mallet works well in sounding it by striking (tapping). As stated, it's "...a nice additional option..." to invite even my larger five-metal bowls to make a slightly different sound by tapping their side as well. Regardless, it is just what I needed for the crystal bowl. Thank you for making this available and at a reasonable price.
