Each set is handcrafted by ROKPA Women's Workshop in Nepal, using Bhutanese-inspired textiles that reflect the heritage of the Himalayas. The workshop provides a safe, supportive environment for women from marginalized communities, offering fair wages, skill-building, and the opportunity to support their families with dignity. Choosing this collar directly supports women-led craftsmanship rooted in tradition.

Dogs have always been a part of our DharmaShop family. It began with Stella, Cathy's beloved Golden Retriever and our original DharmaDog, who came to work with us every day and brought joy to everyone she met. From Stella to Senga, who modeled the first sample at the workshop in Nepal, to Monkey (aka "the Monk"), proudly wearing his collar alongside his favorite Tibetan amulets, to Brutus and Freya, the powerful Dobermans from local dog trainer Thompson K9s, this collar is rooted in real dogs, real relationships, and shared joy.

Stella passed away last year, and in many ways, this collar feels like a tribute to her — and to all the dogs who walk beside us and teach us presence, loyalty, and unconditional love. ❤️
