This Pumtek features a a traditional geometric grid, or "window" pattern, with repeating rectangular markings framed by bands of etched lines. While the original meaning of many Pumtek patterns has been lost over time, their long history as treasured and protective objects is a big part of what makes them so fascinating and sought after.
