    • This one-of-a-kind bowl features a broad rim, low profile, and bulbous belly design—sometimes referred to as "self-amplifying" for the way its rounded form enhances its voice.
    • Unlike Mani or Thadobati styles, bowls with this unusual shape are rare and mysterious. Their exact origins aren't fully known, but the story goes that artisans sometimes crafted experimental shapes in their free time, exploring new designs. Unique pieces like this are treasure-hunt finds in the world of antiques—each one a glimpse into a maker's creativity.

    With its grooved lip, golden finish, and rounded belly, this bowl has a striking visual presence. It sings beautifully with a wooden mallet, even if it doesn't respond to the suede side, and produces a high-pitched tone with bright resonance. When struck, the bowl delivers a crisp, clear fundamental note in a higher frequency range (~434Hz), offering a sound that feels uplifting and clarifying.
