Twenty years ago we found a passion working with under-resourced communities in the Himalayas but we would be remiss if we didn’t see the intersection of racial equality at home with everything we do overseas.  Being better humans is always important work, wherever on the planet you find yourself.

We are not the leaders for the issues we support most. We look to the people out front in their areas of expertise.  Listening to the communities we serve has taught us well.  DharmaShop has let others guide us on how to enter their world and share that world.  Now we must do the same at home.  There are leaders in the Black community changing the course of history right now.  We will gladly follow their lead and be allies.

We practice what we preach and we are not perfect.
