Tibetan Prayer Wheels

Hundreds of hand carved prayer wheels can be seen all over Nepal.  From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.
Traditionally, prayer wheels feature the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum.  This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.  Inside are scrolls containing mantras and prayers which multiply with each turn.  Each of our Tibetan prayer wheels are entirely handmade in Nepal and can be opened to add your own prayers.
By spinning the wheel clockwise and focusing on the mantra, prayer wheels are used to purify negative energy and accumulate good karma and wisdom.
