Sandalwood Meditation Mala

• Handmade in Nepal, this mala includes 108 fragrant sandalwood beads with 3 traditional Tibetan marker beads and a gorgeous tassel.
• These vintage style beads are made of brass with inlaid turquoise and coral pieces.
• The inlaid accent bead before the tassel features the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum.  This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.

Sandalwood is a sacred wood with a lovely aromatic scent that is excellent for staying present and alert during meditation, which makes it wonderful for ritual and spiritual practice.  Its fragrance is said to transform desires and bring emotional balance.

Mala measures approximately 27 inches around.  Sandalwood beads are 7mm, Tibetan beads are 8mm by 10mm.  Tassel is 3.5 inches.
