Set of 5 Prayer Wheels with Wooden Frame

  |
  • This decorated temple style prayer wheel features 5 brass wheels in 1 hand carved wood frame.
  • It can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf or altar space.  Hundreds of hand carved prayer wheels can be seen all over Nepal.
  • From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.

The outside of the wheels include the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, written in Sanskrit script. This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.Inside the prayer wheels are scrolls containing this mantra and prayers which multiply with each turn.

Spin the wheels clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma. Wehope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!

Some items include a red wax seal—Nepals' traditional mark of ethical sourcing. Don't see one? No worries, it was still carefully and safely inspected. Tap to learn more.

The red wax seal is a mark of trust, transparency, and tradition. Applied in Nepal, it certifies that your item was ethically sourced—not taken from a monastery or temple—and approved for export. If your item doesn’t have a seal, it was likely shipped with others under a group certification and still underwent the same careful inspection. Learn more about this sacred tradition in our blog post: Why Is There a Red Wax Seal on My Prayer Wheel?
