Shape & Energy Antique Tibetan Singing Bowl

• This antique singing bowl was acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl experts and sound healers in Nepal.  He specializes in sound baths as well as collecting antique singing bowls.
• Hand picked by the DharmaShop team, this unique and one-of-a-kind bowl was selected from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls in the Kathmandu Valley.
• This beautifully aged antique singing bowl has a rare and unusual shape often referred to as, "trapezoid."  It's truly a one-of-a-kind bowl decorated with linear bands and hand hammered hash marks.  With its unique bulbous shape and a rich tone, it shows and sings beautifully.

Interestingly shaped bowls like this one were often used for ceremonial or ritual purposes.  We were so excited to see and play this style of bowl in person, as they are incredibly rare.  Uncommon bowls are highly sought after by collectors and practitioners alike due to their special shape creating a sound quality like no other!

A great addition to any collection, this one-of-a-kind antique bowl features an attractive and bright golden exterior that is beautifully decorated with hand hammered markings.  Over time, it has acquired some beautiful natural patina.  This bowl has passed the test of time and you will feel its vibrant energy and rich history!

Bowl rings at a F# note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Heart Chakra, which is the center of real, unconditional affection, spiritual growth, compassion, devotion and love.

Measures approximately 8.75 inches in diameter and is about 4.5 inches deep. Comes with a traditional wooden striker.
