Tibetan Astrology Singing Bowl

• Handmade by master artisans, this Tibetan singing bowl was carefully selected in Kathmandu from an absolutely stunning collection of etched bowls.
• Inside features stunning astrological symbols including moon phases surrounding the sun, sacred geometric shapes, Tibetan clouds, and parasols.  The sacred geometry symbol, the Flower of Life, grounds the base of the bowl while the outside features spirals and symbols for good luck.
• Each bowl requires an incredible amount of time and skill to create, therefore this style is limited.  Every piece is hand hammered and polished before being etched with extraordinary detail.
  

The Moon often represents phases of growth and development.  With it comes a meaning of potential and renewal.  Moonlight can illuminate your intuition and consciousness. 

Together, the sun and moon represent balance and harmony.  Although they are opposites, they compliment one another.  The sun and moon are symbols that encompass harmony and balance within the universe, and the union of wisdom and compassion.

Based on the principles of sacred geometry, many of the designs on this bowl can be used for meditation to connect on a deeper spiritual level.  Specifically, the Flower of Life is one of the most important and sacred patterns in the universe.  It is one of the strongest sacred geometric shapes and can be used as a tool for connecting during meditation.

Bowl rings at about a C note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This resonates with the Root Chakra, which is situated at the base of or tail end of the spine.  It is the foundation of the physical body; it stimulates vital forces throughout our body and assists in keeping us grounded to the earth.  Because each bowl is handmade, the note may vary slightly from bowl to bowl.

Bowl measures approximately 9.75 inches in diameter and 4.25 inches deep.  Comes with a traditional wooden striker.
