The pure, delicate lotus flower arises from bogs and slowly develops a beautiful seed head. The dried seeds are then smoothed and sealed to make a lasting prayer bead mala. Lotus seed symbolizes spiritual growth and the ability to overcome obstacles on the path to enlightenment. It also can promote spiritual and material prosperity.
Mala measures approximately 30 inches around. Beads are about 7-8mm. Tassel is about 4 inches.
