- From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels like this one are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.
- We've had this one scaled down a bit to fit on your desk or altar space. Handmade in Nepal of brass and copper.
- Prayer wheel features the 8 Auspicious Symbols, the compassion mantra in Sanskrit, and a special double dorje base.
The outside of the wheel includes the 8 Auspicious Symbols along with 2 lines of the compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, written in Sanskrit script. This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. Inside the prayer wheels are scrolls containing this mantra and prayers which multiply with each turn. The base of the prayer wheel is actually in the shape of a double dorje!
Spin the wheels clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma. We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!
Prayer wheel measures approximately 5 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide.
