Shakyamuni Enlightenment Framed Thangka

  |
  • This Shakyamuni Buddha thangka is hand painted with beautiful bold colors and gold details in a traditional brocade frame.
  • Our thangkas are hand painted by master artists and their apprentices.  Thangka schools in Nepal help to keep Tibetan traditions alive.
  • Each painting is done entirely by hand on canvas before being sewn into a stunning silk brocade frame.  It's the perfect addition to your home decor, meditation area, or altar space.

According to tradition, Shakyamuni traveled widely throughout the Indian subcontinent sharing his enlightened wisdom, promoting peace, and teaching people how to unleash the great potential of their lives. His compassionate intention was to enable all people to attain the same awakened state of life that he had attained.

The traditional Tibetan brocade fabric is a polyester and silk blend, making it a long-lasting and versatile material.  It features gold lotus designs on royal blue with red and yellow framing around the painting.

Painted area measures approximately 10 inches wide and 14.5 inches tall.  Frame measures approximately 19 inches wide and 33.5 inches tall.
