Thunderbolt of Enlightenment Wrist Mala

• Handmade in small batches.  A limited edition wrist mala hand strung here at the DharmaShop using Silver Obsidian beads and a silver plated brass dorje from Nepal.
• Silver Obsidian is a rarer type of obsidian that has more of a sheen to it, caused by mineral inclusions in the volcanic glass. Aside from jewelry, silver obsidian is often used to make weapons and sharp tools.
• The main focal point of the mala is the silver plated brass dorje charm from Kathmandu.  Symbolically, a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment.' and the active energy of the universe.

Obsidian is a very protective stone and is excellent for removing negativity; it is related primarily to the Root Chakra.  It is very useful to help you to let go of disharmony and shields against negative emotions.  Obsidian is a powerful stone for stimulating spiritual growth.
