This 108 bead mala is designed and strung right here at the DharmaShop featuring polished Lapis and faceted Czech glass beads with a Lapis Buddha pendant. The pendant consists of a hand carved gemstone that is placed inside of an intricate silver-plated brass setting. Quality Lapis can contain some pyrite attractively sprinkled throughout the gem, and these inclusions can be seen in both the mala beads and pendant.
Lapis is said to promote self awareness, enlightenment and open the mind to all possibilities. It is also considered to be a powerful stone when used for meditation. Lapis is a prominent Third Eye Chakra stone that helps in developing your intuition. It stimulates the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding, and aids the process of learning.
Mala measures approximately 26 inches around. Lapis beads are 6mm, Czech glass beads are 8mm. Buddha pendant measures about 1 1/4 inch tall from bale and 3/4 inch wide.
