  • Handmade by master artisans, this Tibetan singing bowl was carefully selected in Kathmandu from an absolutely stunning collection of carved bowls.
  • Each bowl requires an incredible amount of time and skill to create, therefore this style is limited.  Every piece is hand hammered and polished before being etched with extraordinary detail.
  • Inside features an intricate Medicine Buddha design with mantra surrounding, along with beautiful swirls of repeated Medicine Buddha mantras and Eternal Knot symbols.  The mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, wraps around the outside and a unique sacred geometry design grounds the base of the bowl.

The Medicine Buddha is a deity of compassion and healing.  He is believed to alleviate suffering for mental and physical illness.  The mantra reads, "Om Bekandze Bekandze, Maha Bekandze, Radza Samudgate Soha."  This translates to, "May the many sentient beings who are sick, quickly be freed from sickness.  And may all the sicknesses of beings never arise again."

Om Mani Padme Hum, the compassion mantra, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.  It decorates the outside of the bowl and is separated by dorje designs, an emblem of protection.

The base of the bowl displays a geometrical design based on the principles of sacred geometry.  These designs are often used for meditation to connect on a deeper spiritual level.

Bowl rings at about a B note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Crown Chakra, which is the center for trust, devotion, inspiration, happiness, and positivity.  This chakra allows access to the upmost clarity and enlightened wisdom.  Because each bowl is handmade, the note may vary slightly from bowl to bowl.

Measures approximately 9.75 inches in diameter and is about 4.5 inches deep.  Cushion sold separately.

Sounds great and recorded with ouHandcrafted Red Wool Mallet!

Celestial

I am very grateful to have found this Tibetan singing bowl. It’s very beautiful! The size sort of intimated me at first because it’s bigger than I imagined. However, the sound and the intricate sacred design is simply celestial. Thank you Dharma Shop for carrying such wonderful singing bowl.

Medicine Buddha Singing Bowl

This Singing Bowl is mesmerizing. I felt an immediate connection with it, which made itself evident upon the first stroke of the mallet to the bowl. Being made of 7 metals, it is just what this Healer/Chakra Worker was looking for, and it picked me. I am truly grateful for The DharmaShop and their unique offerings! Namaste’

It is beautiful, well made by a talented artisan, and has the best tone which lasts for a minute or more. Just what I was looking for.

Good vibrations to better health!

I love my healing bowl! It’s a larger size bowl and it had a beautiful deep sound! I find the leather wrapped striker is the most effective tool. I ❤️ my singing bowls! Thanks Dharma Shop!
