Spinning Prayer Wheel Mala

  |
  • Our limited edition and exclusive mala is hand strung right here at the DharmaShop with stunning red tiger eye stones and brass accents.
  • The mala features a Tibetan prayer wheel pendant from Nepal that is handmade of sterling silver with gold-plating and intricate filagree details.
  • From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels like this one are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.  This one is scaled down a bit to fit around your neck or in your hands during meditation.

The mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, is written in Sanskrit script on the outside of the wheel.  This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.  Inside the prayer wheel are scrolls containing this mantra and prayers which multiply with each turn.

Spin the wheel clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma.  We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!

Tiger eye is believed to bring wisdom, clarity of thought, and protection to the wearer.  With a fierce and dynamic energy, the tiger eye stone is a protective stone, thus called the tiger's eye!  Red tiger eye is a stimulating stone that helps to provide motivation and inspiration.

Mala measures approximately 28 inches around with a short adjustable knot.  Beads are 6mm.  Prayer wheel pendant is about 1.5 inch long and 0.6 inch wide.
