The scent of this ethically produced incense is lovely--not at all sweet or clinging. It is woodsy and clean. It makes a special shrine offering and, my daughter says, makes my room smell like a Japanese temple!
This incense is top-notch. It feels good to support the nuns, too. Very pleased w/ the quality & aesthetic presentation. The box is beautiful and could be re-used or repurposed because its made w/ beautiful rice paper and print of a traditional design.
