This unique necklace features a large rudraksha bead, a brass Om pendant, and an etched bone pendant strung on a brown woven cord with gold beads throughout. The necklace is reversible with an elephant on one side of the bone and a lion on the other. A powerful necklace with delicate features.
A note about bone usage: In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service and then slaughtered for food, clothing, utensils, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste.
Necklace measures approximately 34 inches around. Bone pendant measures 2 inches in length and 3/4 of an inch at widest point of carving. Om pendant measures 1/2 of an inch. Rudraksha bead measures about 7/8 of an inch. *Due to natural elements, sizes may vary.
