Thai monks make little ceramic Buddha amulets to sell in order to support their Wats (temples). They use the same amulet materials to make these beads. These great, traditional beads are made by hand, strung on durable cord, and blessed with 24 karat gold leaf. When these beads are blessed, they are sprinkled with gold. The gold will wear off in time and with use.
This mala measures approximately 46 inches around and contains 12mm beads.
United StatesI bought this because I have 2 bracelets of the same beads which I got a while ago made by the monks. This is perfect to match. I thought the beads would be too big but they are not. Just the right size. Makes me happy to have a necklace to match.
I love my blessed Thai Buddha Beads mala, it is a little long, but they are beautiful and amazing, plus they have the added bonus of being blessed by monks :)
