United StatesI like the dark beads and am overall very happy with this mala. It is strung without separating knots, which makes it fairly stiff. That's the only critique I have -- it doesn't drape at all when worn around the neck or wrist. I prefer to wrist wrap but the extra length sticks out so it's too awkward to wear on my arm. Use it daily though. Pleased with both my mala purchases from DharmaShop.

It was strung so tightly that it was difficult to move just a single bead while counting mantras. I contacted the company in order to begin the return process, but they let me know that they would be happy to work with me in customizing the mala to liking... and they lived up to their word! For a small fee (MORE than worth it!) they let me ship the mala back to them and they re-strung these beautiful rudraksha seeds with an adjustable knot and now this mala is perfect. Dharma Shop has been my #1 source for Buddhist-related products over the years, and thanks to their willingness and ability to work with their customers, they will remain so. If you're thinking of purchasing this mala (or any other for that matter), but you aren't sure it's the one for you, contact them. They'll work with you to make SURE that it is. ☮️️
