Antique Bodhi Dzi Bracelet

• Made in extremely limited batches from true antique Bodhi Seed malas sourced directly in Kathmandu. One antique mala only gives us enough beads for about six bracelets, each paired with a unique true agate Dzi from DharmaShop's curated collection.
• Each bracelet is hand-strung in our Michigan studio using 18 beautifully aged Bodhi beads and a unique true agate Dzi centerpiece. The antique seeds are rich in color, sheen, texture, and wear — details that only come with time and use.
• No two are exactly alike. Because both the antique Bodhi beads and authentic Dzi beads vary naturally, each bracelet has its own unique history, character, and presence.

Bodhi Seeds are revered by spiritual practitioners throughout the Himalayas. In Sanskrit, Bodhi means "enlightenment" or "awakening," and the Bodhi tree is traditionally associated with Buddha's enlightement. These well-used antique seeds carry a depth of texture and character that makes each bracelet feel especially personal.

The Dzi beads are just as special. Each one comes from DharmaShop founder Sander Cohen's personal collection, built over more than 20 years of travel and sourcing in Kathmandu and Taiwan. We pair each antique Bodhi bracelet with a true agate Dzi selected for its unique pattern, symbolism, and character.

Because we can only make as many bracelets as our antique Bodhi malas and Dzi collection allow, these are produced in very small batches and limited quantities.

Double Tiger Tooth Dzi is a bold symbol of strength and determination, traditionally connected with courage, focus, resilience, and protection from negativity.

Lotus in Treasure Vase Dzi is associated with auspiciousness, abundance, and good fortune. The double lotus imagery adds symbolism of purity, growth, and spiritual development.
