Authentic and traditional wrist mala hand strung on stretchy cord with bodhi seed beads that have been cut on each end, making them flat in the traditional manner. Each bodhi bead is separated by tiny black yak bone spacers. Wrist mala features two rudraksha beads surrounding a vintage style Tibetan spacer bead inlaid with pieces of turquoise and coral.
Bodhi seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras as well as other prayers. These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.
Wrist mala measures approximately 7 inches around on stretchy cord. Bodhi beads are about 12-14mm. Made in Nepal. *Due to the nature of the cut bodhi seed beads, size may vary slightly.*
