Hidden Light Yooperlite Bracelet

• A little piece of Michigan with a hidden surprise. Our Yooperlite Bracelet is hand-strung in our Michigan studio with 6mm Yooperlite beads that appear gray and speckled in daylight, then glow with fiery orange and yellow tones under UV light.
• Yooperlite is a naturally fluorescent rock made from Sodalite-bearing Syenite. Its glowing quality comes from fluorescent Sodalite embedded within the stone, and its most remarkable feature stays hidden until ultraviolet light brings it to life.
• Finished with a tiny natural Rudraksha Seed bead from Nepal, this bracelet brings together two places deely connected to DharmaShop: our home here in Michigan and the Himalayan traditions that have shaped so much of what we do.

For years, our Petoskey Stone Bracelet was one of our favorite ways to blend our Michigan roots with our connection to Nepal. When we could no longer reliably source those beads, we found ourselves searching for another Michigan stone. Yooperlite felt like the perfect next chapter.

The rock itself is geologically ancient, carried into the Great Lakes region by glaciers. What makes it especially meaningful is the Sodalite within it — a stone we've lovingly called "the Peace Bringer," traditionally associated with calm, clarity, truth, and emotional balance. Yooperlite is also often connected with self-discovery and inner truth, making its hidden fluorescence feel deeply symbolic.

We paired it with a natural Rudraksha Seed from Nepal, traditionally associated with protection, meditation, and spiritual connection. Together, they create a bracelet centered around peace, protection, and the light within — a reminder that sometimes your brightest qualities are simply waiting for the right light to reveal them.

Each Yooperlite bead has its own natural pattern and fluorescence, so every bracelet will look slightly different in daylight and under UV light.
