Lotus Seed Wrist Mala With Om Charm

• Handmade by our friend Dipendra in Kathmandu, this special wrist mala features lotus seed beads with carnelian spacers and a silver-plated Om charm.

The lotus flower is prized and honored among Buddhists.  The pure, delicate flower arises from bogs and slowly develops a beautiful seed head from which these seeds are extracted.  These dried seeds are then smoothed and sealed to make a lasting prayer bead mala.  Their texture, weight and size are ideal for daily mantras and wearing.

Adjustable wrist mala measures approximately 6.5 inches around when fully tightened and opens to about 9 inches.  Lotus seed beads are 8mm, carnelian beads are 6mm.  Charm is about 0.75 inch.
