This cushion is just the right size for travel and perfect for when space is limited. It provides great knee support during meditation and the craftsmanship is beautiful!
Annie, thank you for your feedback! We're so happy to hear that our meditation cushion provides knee support. Mediation is always best when your body is rid of distractions and completely comfortable. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review and thank you for supporting The DharmaShop!
I've used this compact "travel cushion" several times on short trips. It packs easily; it is dense and supportive; and it looks great. As I said in my earlier review, one must situate oneself carefully on such a small cushion to be properly supported and comfortable, but deciding on how to do that takes no time at all, after which it just works. The second one is put away in case I lose the first one or need another, although I don't expect the first to wear out in any foreseeable time. Namaste!
Initially, I was somewhat dubious that so small a cushion as the Small Tibetan Meditation Cushion could be sufficiently firm but comfortable to justify its purchase. My skepticism vanished as soon as I used it for the first time. Now I don't have to carry a large Zafu cushion with me when I travel or hope to use a bed or couch pillow at my destination as a substitute. The Small Tibetan Meditation Cushion works! and it's very good-looking and well-made, so expect it to last for quite some time. It isn't just for small folks, although its small size does require that one position oneself carefully on it for the full supportive effect. For guidance about its use by larger folks, note that I am a man, 5'10" tall, and weigh 200 lbs. I find this cushion to be nearly as steady and comfortable as my regular Zafu cushion.
Recently purchased the small Tibetan meditation cushion and quickly fell in love with it. This cushion is far superior to any I have found elsewhere - quality fabric, filling and construction. The size is perfect, it is well-made, firm and easily portable. I now keep it in my yoga bag and take it to every class I teach or attend.
