Tibetan Dragon Tingsha Set

2 reviews   |

Tingshas are used by Buddhists as sound offerings or as a way to clear space prior to meditation.  These tingshas are decorated with etched dragon designs and come in a beautiful red brocade case.  Tibetan dragons are protectors of Buddhism whose thunderous voices awaken us from delusion.

Handmade in Nepal and hand picked for their clear, long, sustaining tones.  Attached with leather cord.

Tingshas measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.

Tingsha Set

My friend, the pastor of our church, liked the sound very much, when I rang them for the Angelus bells during the communion service. They make a nice addition to our ritual. But I was disappointed that the bells were not as thick as the ones I bought in Nepal, so the sound is not as full and rich as mine. And doesn’t linger in the air like my original ones do.
