Blue Eternal Knot Door Curtain

2 reviews   |

This simple design has been a best seller for years at the DharmaShop.  The people in Nepal use door curtains like these to keep the cold mountain air out.  We have them hung on several of our doors in the warehouse.  This hand sewn cotton door curtain is embroidered with a fringe (shamboo) decorating the top.  It also features an Eternal Knot design and bold color to perfectly brighten any room in your house.

The Endless, or Eternal Knot has special meaning throughout many cultures and can serve as a reminder of interconnectedness and unity.  It is one of the 8 Auspicious Symbols that represents the intertwining of wisdom and compassion.  Because it has no beginning or end, the knot is also symbolic of Buddha's never-ending wisdom.

Measures approximately 70 inches tall and 35 inches wide.  Handmade in Nepal.

Wonderful addition to my room

Because this door curtain was a little wider than my door (I was going to hang it on the back), I decided to use it as a curtain (the loops are small, so I used an alternative way of hanging). It lets in the perfect amount of light and is a fantastic addition to a space I use as my office and meditation space.

Blue cotton Door Curtain

These are wonderful curtains. They are very well made and the material is fairly heavy. I love mine. I don't use the loops for hanging. I put on curtain clips.
