Carved Shakyamuni Statue

This exquisite statue is 20 inches tall and made of bronze with a copper plate. This one of a kind statue is made using the lost wax method so the molds are destroyed with each statue. After taking the bronze statue out of the mold it is hand carved by a master artisan. This process can take weeks. Our statue makers are 5th generation artisans who create the finest statues in Nepal.

Shakyamuni is also known as the Supreme Buddha. His teachings are the foundation of Buddhism.
