Classic and traditional Dharma Wheel necklace strung on hand knotted black cord. Features dark turquoise accent stones and a silver plated Dharma Wheel with coral, turquoise, and lapis.
The Dharma Wheel is one of the oldest symbols in Buddhism. It is a symbol of rebirth and awakening. Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. Its unique shade of blue, often blue-green, lends it name, Turquoise, to all things of this tranquil hue.
When open, necklace measures approximately 17 inches in length; including pendant. When closed, necklace measures 13 inches. Dharma Wheel pendant measures 1 1/2 inches in length. The turquoise stones measure 10mm but will vary in size due to natural quality of stones.
