The flag itself is excellent. Colours bright enough to survive scorching sun without fading, material and stitching sturdy enough to withstand both gales and rainstorms. What really blows me away, though, is the way people react to it. Not very many people pass by my house and most of them are not of what one might call a spiritual persuasion, but everybody stares at it (it IS quite striking) and if they see me they invariably come up and ask "what the heck that thing is all about." I am flabbergasted at how many people actually seem to get the idea about Dharma and interconnectedness! They are all smiling when they walk away and so am I. I guess the old Karmapa was right.
