This large handheld prayer wheel was made for us in Kathmandu, Nepal. The detail is truly amazing! Handmade to look antiqued, the body is made of brass and covered in leather. It features turquoise, coral, and naga shell accents with a hand carved wooden handle.
From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.
Inside the prayer wheel are scrolls containing mantras and prayers which multiply with each turn. It can be opened to add your own prayers. Spin the wheels clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma. We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!
Prayer wheel measures approximately 14 inches long and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. As each item is handmade, size or style may vary slightly.
