This large handheld prayer wheel was made for us in Kathmandu, Nepal and comes with a hand carved and painted wooden stand. The detail is truly amazing! The body is made of copper and brass and features turquoise, coral, and naga shell accents.
From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.
Inside the prayer wheel are scrolls containing mantras and prayers which multiply with each turn. It can be opened to add your own prayers. Spin the wheels clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma. We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!
Large handheld prayer wheel measures about 13" long and 3 3/4" in diameter. Wooden base is about 4 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" wide.
