This exquisite White Tara statue is handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal. Each statue is made using the lost wax method, which takes considerable time and skill. After casting, each statue is hand detailed and carved by master craftsmen and women. The statue is then polished, inlaid with mosaic tiles and gemstones, and finally, her face is completed with gold paint and fine details.
White Tara is the embodiment of healing, compassion, and wisdom. With her seven eyes she sees all suffering and has the wisdom and guidance the help you through your practice. She is often referred to as the 'swift Tara' as well as she is known for bringing quick relief to the suffering.
