The earth-touching, or "earth witness" Buddha is one of the most common iconic images of Buddhism.  It depicts the Buddha sitting in meditation with his left hand, palm upright, in his lap, and his right hand touching the earth.  This gesture represents the moment of the Buddha's awakening as he claims the earth as the witness of his enlightenment.

Statue measures just over 1 inch tall and about 3/4 inch wide.  Made in Thailand.
