During our trip to nepal we scoured the shops in Thamel and Bhaktipur to find one of a kind jewelry, malas and thangakas. This gau is spectacular and opens to reveal an image of HH the Dalai Lama and a tiny fragment of a prayer scarf. The stones inlaid in this gau are hand set in solid silver.
