Raktu Seed and Turquoise 108 Mala

33   |

Handmade in the shadow of the Boudanath Stupa by our friend Dipendra.  There is no greater joy than when we get to sit and drink a cup of sweetened Nepali tea while visiting his shop, and watch the pilgrims walk clockwise around the great stupa.  This simple mala is a staple at Dipendra's shop in Boudhanath.

These raktu beads are perfect if you like a natural seed bead but are looking for a smaller size.  Seed malas are some of the most common malas used in Tibet and Nepal.  The seeds are sustainable and are harvested each year then drilled and made into mala beads.

Mala measures approximately 28 inches around.  Contains 108 8mm raktu seed beads with 3 8mm pressed turquoise spacers.  Handmade in Nepal.

wonderful mala

As I was struggling to meditate truthfully, i stumbled upon this website offering this kind of item made by true artisan. the same people who offered the item i was looking for, guaranteed not only the item to be exactly as i saw it in my mind but also that it would be worth every penny and more that i paid for it. i would recommend Dharma Shop to whomever may want a mala or any kind of product connected to the practice of meditation. I send you the aknowledgement of a great gift as it is helping me like nothing as ever did to reach mental peace. I wish you last for the last century and might it be more than that, it shall help mankind to go back to its true nature which isn't the one it is into now.

Again & Again ... Excellent Again

I've purchased this wonderful mala many times, since dharma shop began offering it years ago. I repeatedly give it as gift, after a time, and purchase another. My all-time favorite. As always, excellently made, as always, prompt service. Thanks!

Amazing!

I bought this mala and gave it as a gift. It has a subtle beauty about it. It's light weight and can be wrapped nicely around the wrist. The quality of the piece is evident in every aspect. It was shipped quickly and I appreciate how nicely it was packaged. Thank you and I will be buying from this shop again!
