This fully adjustable solid .925 sterling silver bracelet with gold vermeil is made in Nepal and features the mantra of compassion, 'om mani padme hum' in Sanskrit script. The mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. This bracelet also includes beautiful roping details, two dorje symbols on either side of the mantra, and two Garuda accents at the adjustable opening.
Symbolically, a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment.' Once "enlightened," the observer can detach from the personal importance of money, romance, food and even life itself. Garuda symbolizes the space element and the power of the sun, which can dry up the waters; he represents the spiritual energy of that which devours the delusions of jealousy.
Bracelet measures approximately 6 1/2 inches around, 3/4 inch thick, and is fully adjustable.
It's very hard to find nice quality solid silver bracelets like this especially by me. Needed some cleaning & buffing on arrival but once polished up beautiful and I have worn almost every day since :)
